How to Do-Good

Quick How-To Guide: Start the day with a little silence, scripture (via Forward Day by Day, if you choose) and prayer. Then open your eyes and make it a practice to be hyper-aware of who and what's going on around you. Deploy that deed with confidence when God gives you his signature gentle nudge. This may feel awkward and unnatural. #NoWorries #GoWithIt #DeedWellDone #BlessingsEnsueJustWait

Day 31 in Review

Prayer: Yes
Scripture: Yes
Silence: Yes

The Deed/The Day: We took a family trip to Publix today, on this beautiful late spring day. On the way in, we were accosted by a Boy Scout troop selling a $5 off coupon. We bought it. On the way out, there was a group pitching support of disabled adults. I caved. Easy give. As annoying as it is, it's never too hard to give $1 or $5 to someone trying their hardest to raise money for a good cause. Why not?

Words of encouragement/Advice: I came across a REALLY good bit of advice today! It's from Chic Fil A, the place to go if you're going to go fast food. I've always known they were a company based on Christian principles, and have gotten bummed out on numerous occasions upon realizing that they're not open on Sundays so they're employees could go to church. (grrrrrrr!) But I thought this was pretty neat! It's on the welcome page of the JTB/Philips Highway Chic Fil A, where I visited today to order a nugget platter. Thank you Marinus Storm:

Welcome to the Chick-fil-A at Butler Pointe Plaza

I like that! Translation: Others first, your team/your family/your community second, yourself last. It's definitely useful in serving others needs!
Thanks for visiting!
My Vision for this store is that my team will be Champions of the Chick-fil-A Brand who put YOU (the Customer) First, Team Second and Self Last.  We pray this site will be useful in serving your needs.
