How to Do-Good

Quick How-To Guide: Start the day with a little silence, scripture (via Forward Day by Day, if you choose) and prayer. Then open your eyes and make it a practice to be hyper-aware of who and what's going on around you. Deploy that deed with confidence when God gives you his signature gentle nudge. This may feel awkward and unnatural. #NoWorries #GoWithIt #DeedWellDone #BlessingsEnsueJustWait

Day 115

Scripture: Ps 137:1-6; Ps 144;  1 Samuel 14:16-30; Acts 9:10-19; Luke 23:32-43

Scripture standout: Ps 144: "12 Then our sons in their youth
   will be like well-nurtured plants,
and our daughters will be like pillars
   carved to adorn a palace.
13 Our barns will be filled
   with every kind of provision.
Our sheep will increase by thousands,
   by tens of thousands in our fields;
 14 our oxen will draw heavy loads.[b]
There will be no breaching of walls,
   no going into captivity,
   no cry of distress in our streets.
15 Blessed is the people of whom this is true;
   blessed is the people whose God is the LORD.

Morning thoughts: We are venturing to the beach today for the 4th of July weekend. Ashraf's foot still really hurts. I look forward to sitting on the beach and having some morning thoughts because right now my mind is racing trying to remember everything we'll need. Salam!
