How to Do-Good

Quick How-To Guide: Start the day with a little silence, scripture (via Forward Day by Day, if you choose) and prayer. Then open your eyes and make it a practice to be hyper-aware of who and what's going on around you. Deploy that deed with confidence when God gives you his signature gentle nudge. This may feel awkward and unnatural. #NoWorries #GoWithIt #DeedWellDone #BlessingsEnsueJustWait

Day 301

Scripture: Ps 29; Genesis 1:1-5; Acts 19:1-7; Mark 1:4-11

Scripture standout: Mark 1: "9 At that time Jesus came from Nazareth in Galilee. John baptized him in the Jordan River. 10 Jesus was coming up out of the water. Just then he saw heaven being torn open. He saw the Holy Spirit coming down on him like a dove. 11 A voice spoke to him from heaven. It said, "You are my Son, and I love you. I am very pleased with you."

Ps 29: "7 The voice of the Lord strikes
      with flashes of lightning.
8 The voice of the Lord shakes the desert."

His Deed/The Day: Girl Scout Cookies. What a wonderfully sweet deeding opportunity! So many girl scouts, so many chances to say "sure! give me two boxes of thin mints!"
