How to Do-Good

Quick How-To Guide: Start the day with a little silence, scripture (via Forward Day by Day, if you choose) and prayer. Then open your eyes and make it a practice to be hyper-aware of who and what's going on around you. Deploy that deed with confidence when God gives you his signature gentle nudge. This may feel awkward and unnatural. #NoWorries #GoWithIt #DeedWellDone #BlessingsEnsueJustWait

Day 336

Scripture: Ps 30; 2 Kings 5:1-14; 1 Corinthians 9:24-27; Mark 1: 40-45

Scripture standout: 1 Corinthians 9: "24 Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. 25 Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever. 26 Therefore I do not run like someone running aimlessly; I do not fight like a boxer beating the air. 27 No, I strike a blow to my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize."

His Deed/The Day: What a gift! I'm on my way out the door for the big marathon. I was hoping for some spiritual inspiration before I left — then this in the daily reading. Thank you God! It's just the pick-me-up I needed! Especially on this FREEZING marathon morning!
The real gift today was the deed of running for all the women out there who fight breast cancer each day...

  1. I'm getting the sneaking suspicion you are one of His favorite girls.
    You are mine too.
