How to Do-Good

Quick How-To Guide: Start the day with a little silence, scripture (via Forward Day by Day, if you choose) and prayer. Then open your eyes and make it a practice to be hyper-aware of who and what's going on around you. Deploy that deed with confidence when God gives you his signature gentle nudge. This may feel awkward and unnatural. #NoWorries #GoWithIt #DeedWellDone #BlessingsEnsueJustWait

Day 334

Scripture: Ps 88, 91, 92; Genesis 27:46—28:4, 10-22; Romans 13:1-14; John 8:33-47

Scripture standout: Ps 91: "4 For you make me glad by your deeds, LORD;
   I sing for joy at what your hands have done.
5 How great are your works, LORD,
   how profound your thoughts! "

Romans 13: "10 Love does no harm to a neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law."

His Deed/The Day: Don't you hate seeing pedestrians stuck in the middle of a road, waiting for an opportunity to risk their life and run to the other side? If you're not going to cause an accident yourself, why not stop for them. Riverside Avenue is a great place to do that — had an opportunity to do that on this day. Easy deed.
