How to Do-Good

Quick How-To Guide: Start the day with a little silence, scripture (via Forward Day by Day, if you choose) and prayer. Then open your eyes and make it a practice to be hyper-aware of who and what's going on around you. Deploy that deed with confidence when God gives you his signature gentle nudge. This may feel awkward and unnatural. #NoWorries #GoWithIt #DeedWellDone #BlessingsEnsueJustWait

Day 235, 236, 237, 238

Scripture: Ps 70, 71, 74; Ezra 7:1-26; Revelation 14:1-13; Matthew 14:1-12
Scripture Standout: Ps 71: "15 My mouth will tell of your righteous deeds,
   of your saving acts all day long—
   though I know not how to relate them all.
16 I will come and proclaim your mighty acts, Sovereign LORD;
   I will proclaim your righteous deeds, yours alone. "

His Deed/The Day(s): Today we're going on a Disney Cruise. The Disney Dream. Grandaddy was a "dream" to sponsor our family and my brother and his family on this fun family excursion. So I will be away from ye ole desk for four whole, glorious days. To stay on track, however, I've outlined some goals/deeds for today and the following three days. I'm sure a cruise will be RIPE RIPE RIPE for deeding opportunities, but just in case, these are the goals:
235. Fundraised for The Paula Loyd Foundation in the process of trying to figure out how our foundation's new Amazon "purchase" button worked. Four board members were "testing" it, and I think we ended up raising a record $100!
236. Focus on Family: no computers, no phones, no disruptions — hoping to be a fun mom for the kids and build deeper relationships with my brother, his wife, my nieces and Grandaddy. Also going to deed everyone big time with patience.
237. Goal: to let someone else go before me in the cruise buffet line
238. Goal: To express deep gratitude to Dad for taking us all on the cruise
